The story behind.
When I came up with the idea of creating jewelry, I didn't even think about where I would get the materials for it. It was immediately clear to me that I wanted to buy old jewelry from flea markets and create something new from it. This is the way I go about almost anything.
So I went and started collecting vintage jewelry. I just went for all jewelry, mostly necklaces, with beads or gemstones I liked and could envision in something new. I didn't have any specific designs in mind, but decided based on quality, colors and intuition. As long as the necklaces have a silver clasp, I use them again. For all other necklaces, I use new clasps made of 925 sterling silver.
